Our Reed Heights-Tiburon Knolls Property Owners Association wouldn't exist without the generosity of our neighbors!Residents have been paying annual dues since our Association was inaugurated in 1957. Without your dues we wouldn't be able to: 1) maintain the front entrance including the cost of irrigation and gardening, 2) pay for RHTK social events, including our annual family Halloween party, 3) pay to print and mail our neighborhood directory to all dues-paying members, 4) cover the cost of emergency block kits, consultant fees as needed, tree trimming as required, or other miscellaneous items, 5) maintain a bank account, and 6) have a cushion of money left over in the case of an emergency. Paying the $75 annual fee couldn't be easier. There are two options:1) You can pay by snail mail (a form will be mailed separately by mid-February 2024 with instructions), or 2) You can use the PayPal QR code above. (Just open your camera app and hold it up to the screen). Note, you must have a PayPal account to use this option.
Our RHTK Board Needs YOU!
Our RHTK Property Owners Association that (among other things) has provided so many memorable social gatherings over the years is on hiatus until we can find permanent volunteers to serve on our RHTK Board. (Currently, we have only an interim Secretary and Treasurer). We are in desperate need of volunteers to serve in all roles, but particularly in the positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer.
If you or someone that you know would like to contribute to our neighborhood by filling these positions, PLEASE click here and provide your details via the CONTACT form.
Tree Trouble?
We all know that trees are a part of the beauty of Tiburon. But they can also become a contentious issue amongst neighbors, especially when sunlight and view preservation are involved. What many do not know is that the Town of Tiburon has set forth specific regulations for the planting and removal of trees as well as the process for dealing with neighborhood disputes. You can read about these rules and regulations using the link below. With this link, you'll be able to view two essential documents: The Tiburon Tree Ordinance, which stipulates which trees are undesirable as well as when permits are required to plant and remove trees, and the Municipal Code on View and Sunlight Obstruction which defines what is considered "obstruction" and the process by which neighbors can resolve their disputes. The Town of Tiburon makes very clear in their documents that the onus is on the tree OWNER to provide not only a safe environment for his or her neighbor but also the continued unobstructed views that the neighbor enjoyed when he or she first purchased their home.
If you have any questions about the Ordinance or Municipal Code, you can call the Town directly at 415-435-7373.
